From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While on approach to landing at Orange Municipal Airport (kore), the pilot privacy data omitted entered a left downwind for landing on runway 32. When abeam the numbers, the pilot extended the landing gear and had down and locked indications. Later, the pilot privacy data omitted tried to lower the flaps, but inadvertently retracted the landing gear instead of lowering the flaps. The pilot's privacy data omitted attention was drawn to the aircraft in front of him on final and the snow covered runway. The pilot privacy data omitted proceeded to land the aircraft without doing final gear checks, not realizing the gear was retracted. After landing and coming to a complete stop, the pilot privacy data omitted realized something was amiss. He radioed the aircraft who just landed before him which advised him his gear was retracted.
