From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated that the aircraft was covered with snow, he brushed the snow from the leading edge of the aircraft and the fuselage. He figured the rest of the snow would blow off during the take off roll; it didn't. after getting approximately 10 feet into the air he realized that he did not have the lift to continue flying so he reduced the throttle all the way and the aircraft N39KB slammed back to the runway bending the right landing gear and the right wing, causing substantial damage to the aircraft.

As the FAA filed it
