From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Left hand propeller struck gate B6 jetway at msp airport while being taxied to the gate after overnight maintenance. Due to a thick ice sheet that was prevalent over all of the gate areas, the maintenance crew made a safety decision to stop approximately 10 feet from the gate even though being pressured from the mala ground operations control and the marshallers to continue to the gate. After stopping the aircraft, the maintenance crew proceeded to feather the propellers which causes a brief forward surging that initiated the sliding of the aircraft - nose right/tail left - and strong right aft quartering tail wind exacerbated the skid. Ramp conditions were icy, snow covered, and very slippery. No aggregate had been put down prior to this occurance. Mala has initiated an internal investigation to put in place procedures with regard to icy ramp conditions.
