What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) A tri-cycle gear, non-retractable gear Cessna CE-177 airplane, while landing at the Girdwood, AK airport, sustained substantial damage to the propeller and right wing tip, when on touchdown, in about 12 inches of snow, it rolled up onto its nose and right wing tip. Due to the snow berms along the runway, and no NOTAMS to the contrary, the pilot thought and observed it looked like it had been plowed clear. Neither the pilot or his passenger were injured.
