From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The aircraft was on a training flight with the instructor and student on board. It was returning to san antonio international and had been cleared for the tower arrival. It had been cleared to descend at pilot's discretion for landing on 12 right. The instructor had asked the student to perform a 180 accuracy landing. During the steep descent and overshooting the runway to the right and traffic on the parallel runway, there was enough distraction they did not lower the landing gear. This resulted in a gear up landing. There was only minor damage and no injuries.
