From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On 05-02-07 at 1400 hours local time, N767DM taxied into a ground battery cart. The pilot failed to see the auxiliary battery cart in front of the aircraft before taxiing the aircraft and impacted the battery cart with the right propeller. (-23 amendment) current company policy states a mechanic or the EMT on board will remove the cart after startup. The EMT got on board thinking a mechanic would come out and disconnect the cart after startup. The pilot thought the EMT disconnected the cart so he conducted a normal aircraft bater start.
