(-23) The pilot departed Sayre municipal airport at 1420 CDT on June 6, 2007. The pilot stated that his take off roll started at the end of runway 35, a 5017 ft. runway. The pilot stated that he started to lose altitude when he got out of ground effect, but also stated that he had 100 feet of altitude. The first ground scarring was broken small trees about .2 miles south of the runway, the left spray boom was found 18 ft. further south. The left wing hit trees six ft. south of the spray boom. About 63 feet south a large ground scar was found about 20 feet long, with tire marks on each side with the belly of the aircraft hitting the ground. The aircraft again made contact with the ground after another 36 ft. of travel, at which time the aircraft engine hit a 3 foot hole and the aircraft flipped onto its back. The compass was indicating a heading of about 350 degrees. There was no writing on the compass correction card. The mag switch was on both. The throttle was full open. The mixture was in the idle cutoff position and the prop control was about 1/3 forward. The master switch was found in the on position. The prop was rotated two turns and felt normal, the blades were bent to the aft. The wings and firewall sustained major damage.
