What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) Pilot said he "lost air." He said he was finishing a level turn to return to the field he was spraying when the airplane clipped a tree. The pilot said the aircraft was not producing the lift at full power to climb above the trees at the FAR end of the field he was spraying, so he made an emergency landing into the field of standing corn. The result of the landing was damage to the right main gear, propeller and engine damage, damage to the leading edge of the wings and horizontal stabilizer.
