From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N9264B was taxiing for takeoff at O15 when a witness observed its right wing tip impact the rudder of N39731, a PA-28 and then the rudder of N4843X, a Cessna 150 that were parked on the ramp. N9264B did not stop and the witness chased the aircraft on foot. The pilot then stopped and was told of the wing tip contact. The pilot elected to continue his flight. He returned to O15 about an hour later and landed without incident. The pilot informed the FAA inspector that he did not hear the contact between his airplane and the other two airplanes and he initially did not believe that he was involved. After talking with the witness he now believes it did happen and has contacted his insurance company. N9264B was inspected by a local mechanic and found to have no sign of damage to its right wing. The rudder of N4843X suffered substantial damage and the rudder of N39731 suffered minor damage.
