From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) CFI privacy data omitted was demonstrating a short field landing to student privacy data omitted. All 3 green landing gear lights were observed. After landing the CFI, the student, and a back seat student observer all state that the landing gear control was not touched but that the flaps were retracted and full power applied for a touch and go takeoff. At approx. 70 mph the nose gear collapsed. During the retrieval process the nose section was placed on a dolly. When the plane was first being towed, a main gear began to collapse. It was then discovered that both main gear uplocks were disengaged.
