What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) The pilot reported that his right engine quit shortly after starting his descent out of clouds at about 18,000 ft. westbound to meeker, CO from denver, CO. A short time later the left engine lost power but remained running. He shut the left engine down because he thought it was producing more drag than thrust. He had planned an engine out landing at Eagle airport but as he got closer he thought he might not make the airport and landed on interstate 70. The aircraft incurred minor damage when the right tip tank and wing struck marker posts. No other damage or injuries occurred.
