From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot was attempting to land on runway 11 at the Diamond Point airport and landed short by 15 feet on a sharp grassy incline. The aircraft bounced hard on the runway and pitched up to about a 40 degree angle. The aircraft departed the runway to the left into the grass and continued for approximately 400 feet in a straight line toward the houses on the north side of the runway. The pilot added full power to initiate a go-around and clipped several trees. The aircraft entered a steep angle of attack and appeared to have stalled to the left. The aircraft landed between two houses and burst into flames.
