From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Airman stated he departed kagc at approximately 11:00 EST enroute to kric. Approximately two (2) hours into flight he heard a "pop" and oil covered the windshield. Engine oil pressure began to drop and airman stated he elected to make an emergency off airport landing while he still had engine power available. After successfully landing on a gravel forestry road the right wing tip struck a 6 inch diameter pine tree on roll out which caused substantial damage to the tubular structure where the right wing connects to the fuselage.
