From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On November 9, 2007, the pilot took off from the freemont county airport, and the engine quit at 800 feet AGL. The pilot made an emergency landing on county road 123 approximately 2-3 miles from the airport. Two mechanics from the pro av repair station went to the aircraft and inspected the aircraft for damage and engine failure. They did not find any airworthiness discrepancies and noticed that the fuel selector was on the right tank. They found that the right tank had approximately 10-15 gallons of fuel and the left tank did not have any measurable quantity of fuel in it. The mechanics put 5 gallons of fuel in the left tank and 10 gallons in the right tank, then flew the aircraft back to the airport. The aircraft has made several flights since without any failures or discrepancies. privacy data omitted No further action taken at this time.
