From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft was landing on rwy 25. Aircraft struck runway with little to no flare and bounced 10 ft into the air. No attempt was made to recover and the aircraft hit the runway with the nose wheel and propeller 2 more times. After the 3rd bounce, a recovery was initiated and the pilot flew around the airport for 20 min. Subsequent landing was uneventful although the nose tire was flat due to the previous landing attempt. Pilot taxied off the runway with full power. Pilot stated he was blinded by the sun on landing.
