From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N733TW, B-737-2H4, operated by ameristar charters as flight AJI9262, departed the ramp area while taxiing to the terminal. Following an uneventful landing the flight crew experienced a loss of hydraulic system pressure while taxiing from the taxiway to the ramp. The pilot stated that as he was transitioning from the taxiway he observed a master caution light, and the first officer called out that the aircraft had lost system a, and system b hydraulics. The loss of the a,b and standby hydraulic system pressure rendered the nose wheel steering and the main wheel braking systems inoperative. The aircraft departed the ramp into the snow. There were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft. The company mechanic stated that he had removed the left MLG, left hand aft swivel valve and reinstalled the valve incorrectly.
