From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was on approach, approx 1/2 mile from airport in early morning around 0800 and the landing gear caught the top power-line that was about 150' AGL. Aircraft proceeded to rubber-band back into the lower power lines nose down, then fell straight down to the ground landing in the upright position. Aircraft started to smoke and pilot escaped without injury. Pilot tried to put fire out with small fire extinguisher kept on board with no success. Aircraft became engulfed in flames and destroyed by fire within minutes. Pilot expressed that the sun was rising in his easterly direction and he was not able to see that "top" power line that is much thinner and less visible the lower wires, the pilot also explained that he also caught a downdraft that contributed to his contact with the power lines.
