(-23) Pilot reported unsafe nose gear indication during approach to Memphis International Airport. Upon landing, nose gear collapsed. Examination after the incident revealed that the bolt (part # AN5-17A) that connects the drag brace to the drag link assembly fractured completely through. A review of the maintenance records and manuals did not identify any deficiencies in this area.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED UNSAFE NOSE GEAR INDICATION DURING APPROACH TO MEMPHIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. UPON LANDING, NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. EXAMINATION AFTER THE INCIDENT REVEALED THAT THE BOLT (PART # AN5-17A) THAT CONNECTS THE DRAG BRACE TO THE DRAG LINK ASSEMBLY FRACTURED COMPLETELY THROUGH. A REVIEW OF THE MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND MANUALS DID NOT IDENTIFY ANY DEFICIENCIES IN THIS AREA.
