From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) A flight instructor and a student were practicing a GPS approach in a multiengine airplane into Sanford, Florida to runway 27R. The student put the landing gear down and the instructor simulated an engine failure. The student retracted the landing gear and forgot to extend it before the propellers hit the runway. The instructor took the controls and made a go-around. On downwind they lowered the landing gear and made a landing without further incident. The airplane received minor damage to the propellers, bottom radio antenna, and assist step. The student and instructor were not injured.
