From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated on Friday March 28, 2008 at about 11:30 am during a maintenance flight of Cessna N421BF, a Cessna 421, operated out of Lonoke, AR, he experienced a gear up landing in the grassy runway of Lonoke country air estates airpark. His statement indicated he had maintenance performed that day by privacy data omitted to repair oil leaks on both engines. After the run-up and leak check privacy data omitted requested the pilot privacy data omitted to fly the aircraft around the field to further investigate if the oil leaks had completely been repaired. During landing all indications were normal, and he stated he heard the landing gear motor noise asssociated with the landing gear and flaps. He also stated verbally during his initial report to the FSDO that he did not notice if he had a green indication of landing gear down lights or not. Aircraft has minimal damage to aircraft. Both props are bent and engines will need maintenance. Aircraft was moved off the grass runway before the inspector was on site. At this time jacks for the aircraft are not available to determine if there is a gear problem or if the pilot privacy data omitted inadvertently did not lower the gear on landing. When jacks are available an inspection and determination will be accomplished.
