From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot landed the airplane on runway 28R at sfo and was instructed to turn right onto runway 1R, give way to traffic on charlie passing left to right, traffic is two in trail, then turn left on taxiway charlie, cross runway 1L and contact ground point eight. 111KV was subsequently instructed to turn right on the next turn, traffic's a mile final, turn right on runway 1L and contact ground. The pilot stated he hurried too much and mistook the runway edge lights of runway 1L for centerline lights. By the time he realized his error, it was too late to avoid the propeller's striking a runway edge light. A post-flight inspection of the aircraft revealed there was damage to all three blades of the right propeller.
