From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft coming for a landing on runway 27R, aircraft was observed porpoising and landed 1000' short of its marking. Aircraft landed and hit cones on the left side. Aircraft continued to travel approx 3000' with engines running and props striking the ground until r/h engine blew oil all over aircraft and stopped. Fire rescue responded within 1 minute, pilot & passenger escaped without injury. The nose landing gear hit the ground so hard that it broke through the nose section then into the windshield/cockpit. The nose landing gear tubular structure had broken yet the wheel & strut was low enough that the wheel was able and continued to roll without the nose section touching the ground.
