From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Returning from lake havasu city, AZ on an IFR, ATC asked pilot to keep airspeed up and turned the aircraft towards the airport somewhat early. Pilot reported he was then cleared to intercept the localizer for phx runway 25L but not cleared to land. Setting the aircraft prop controls for descent and the emergency. No flap landing checklist, was told that there were 2 aircraft holding for takeoff on runway 25L. Pilot commented there was a lot of radio chatter both from phx tower and his company frequency. Crossing over the phx localizer, he performed the 'before landing' check for no-flap landing he looked inside the cockpit and noted the flashing light on the landing gear handle and heard the gear horn. Pilot secured aircraft and exited the aircraft uninjured.
