What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-23) I learned of this incident on 6/5/2008 from a request to ferry the aircraft for maintenance. An inspection of the aircraft found that the right propeller was replaced and there was no other damage to the aircraft. During a telecon, the pilot stated that he contacted the runway with the right propeller on landing due to a wind gust at the airport. A witness to the incident stated that there were crosswinds at the time. Pilot also stated that his approach did not feel right and in retrospect, should have gone around. I recommend that the pilot be counselled on decision making and crosswind landing technique.
