From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The aircraft had landed ahead of an approaching thunderstorm. The aircraft was taxied clear of the runway and stopped pointed into the wind. The wind increased with the approaching thunderstorm and shifted abruptly from a head wind to a tail wind. The tail of the aircraft was lifted causing the aircraft to tilt causing the wing tip and propeller to contact the taxiway. The wind subsided and the aircraft returned to all three wheels. The aircraft was shut down and towed to the ramp after passage of the gust front. The pilot was counseled on ground and flight operations near inclement weather conditions.
