From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot privacy data omitted after cross country flight for spokane (geg) to home base airport The Dalles (dls) was landing on runway 30. Winds at the time were 350 at 12 gusting to 16 knots. Pilot landed on center line past the threshold, at this point the right wing continued to settle on roll out until it contacted the runway. The right wing tip, right aileron and right flap sustained substantial damage when they contacted the runway surface and the side of the runway. The pilot was unable to maintain complete directional control and the aircraft departed the runway to the right (north side of runway 30). The aircraft came to rest one full plane length off the runway in sand facing perpendicular to runway 30. The pilot departed the aircraft without injury and noted that the right main gear had collapsed.
