From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) The pilot stated that he and another pilot were going to practice landings. They departed bountiful airport and then they flew to the Brigham City Airport. The pilot stated that the landing was smooth and after the nose wheel touched down he reached for the flap lever to raise them. Then he felt the nose of the aircraft pitching down. After skidding about 25 feet with the nose wheel collapsed the aircraft came to rest on the runway. The propeller was damaged as were the nose gear doors and some skin at the wheel well. The company mechanic who looked at the aircraft stated that he found nothing wrong with the gear system.
