From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This aircraft was enroute from tus to bur, on approach to bur runway 15 the crew lowered the landing gear. The main landing gear went down and locked and the nose landing gear indicated in transit. The crew performed a go-around and performed the emergency landing gear extension procedures while on vectors from socal approach. The crew stated it took 30 to 40 minutes to obtain a safe gear indication. Once the crew obtained a down and locked indication on the nose landing gear they elected to land at vny due to low fuel. The aircraft landed on rwy 34L at vny. As the crew taxied off the active runway and applied the brakes the nose landing gear retracted.
