From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N13LL departed mauney airstrip in bessermer city, NC after several touch and go's the engine loss power and the pilot attempted to return the airstrip. The aircraft impacted the top of trees about 75' tall and came to rest about 100' from those trees approximately 1.5 miles northeast of the airstrip. Impact damage was limited to one blade of the propeller and the engine. There was also damage to the leading edge of the right wing sustained during descent through the trees. All flight controls remained attached to the airframe after impact (based on pictures). The aircraft was substantially damaged during extraction of the pilot. The fuel tank was ruptured during impact but there was evidence of ample fuel. No signs of in-flight or post crash fire.
