From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During taxi on taxiway bravo, pilot applied brakes too hard and aircraft came up on the nose. Minor aircraft damage and no injuries to the pilot. Note: investigation is ongoing due to difficulties contacting pilot/owner. During taxi on taxiway bravo at night, pilot realized he was about to pass the taxiway he was cleared to turn on, he applied the brakes too hard, causing the tail to come up and the aircraft propeller cotacted the ground. The aircaft came to rest on the spinner. Causal to the incident was the fact that it was night and the pilot did not realize the tail was coming up until it was too late to prevent contact with the ground. Also causal was the fact the aircraft is equipped with heal brakes and the pilot had piloted a different aircraft with toe brakes earlier that day.
