From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed queen city airport (1N9) and immediately the pilot noticed that the nose gear indicator did not show that the gear was in the full-up position. Gear down was selected but the nose gear indicator did not show a down and locked indication. The pilot flew off some fuel and then elected to land at Allentown airport (abe). Upon touch down on runway 6 at abe, the nose gear collapsed and the propeller struck the runway. The aircraft came to a stop with no further complications.
