From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot stated he left northeast phila. Airport even though it was a little turbulent, intending to land at Doylestown Airport. He was very familiar with Doylestown Airport so he was not concerned about the turbulence. He made his approach to runway 23 at Doylestown Airport for the purpose of landing, approaching a little faster than normal. As he tried to touch down, the aircraft seemed to float considerably, possibly due to a little bit of a cornering tailwind. He could not slow the aircraft down and as he continued down that runway the aircraft veered off the left side of the runway. He continued to apply brakes while on the runway and onto the grass, and continued approximately 150 feet off the end of the runway and contacted a chain link fence on the perimeter of the airport property.
