What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot taxied around a stopped aircraft and came into the gate to the right of the taxi line. The marshaler was trying to get the aircraft back on the taxi line and was not watching the right wing walker. The right wing walker tried to get the aircraft to stop but the marshaler was not paying attention to the right wing walker. The right wing tip struck the top left portion of a fuel truck. The fuel truck was parked out side the safety zone. Because this happened at the gate the passengers were deplaned through the aft stairs.
