From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft landed at pit with gear up on runway 28C. The gear would not extend due to a mechanical failure with the landing gear. The pilot notified the tower when his gear would not extend and the tower informed the pilot to land on runway 28C, and notified the fire department. The aircraft sustained minimal damage to the airframe. The removable panel located on the bottom of the aircraft absorbed most of the damage, with damage to the NLG doors. The NLG suffered damage at the trunion (broken support tubing). During the investigation it was noted the circuit breaker for the landing gear was open and kept popping when the gear down handle was selected. When the emergency gear extension handle was tried the handle would not move.
