From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 16 at approximately 1500 received notification of an amateur built experimental aircraft a 1987 acrosport ii N5TT s/n 824JC was making a landing at the Keene NH airport (keen) and the landing gear failed on landing. There were 2 people on board with no injuries. The pilot stated to me that he was doing his 3 landings for currency. He had completed 2 landings and was making his third, when after touching down the plane just seemed to keep settling lower than normal. The landing gear appeared to have collapsed and the aircraft settled on the belly. It appears that the gear cross bracing failed, causing the gear to collapse. This caused subsequent damage to the propeller and minor damage to the belly and wings.

As the FAA filed it
