From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N688T, Gulfstream ga-iv, being operated by twc aviation inc. as a usc 14 cft part 135 flight enroute from van nuys, CA, to montreal, quebec, diverted to North Platte, NE, due to a hydraulic low indication light. The passengers were transferred to another aircraft. Maintenance found the reservoir fluid low. Maintenance replenished the reservoir of N688TT, and the aircraft flew to lincoln, NE. Duncan aviation found that the hydraulic relief valve was malfunctioning allowing fluid to transfer to the other reservoir and then discharge overboard. Maintenance replaced the flight hydraulic system relief valve and the flight hydraulic system reservoir.
