From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot statement is that copilot was flying and landed with a "crab" and failed to straighten out prior to touchdown. The aircraft was landing runway 15 and winds were reported from 240 at 9KTS. The aircraft started swerving back and forth after touchdown and PIC waited too long to come on the controls and try to correct. The aircraft eventually skidded out of control to the left and exited the runway on the left side. When the aircraft came to rest, it was approximately 120 degrees off runway heading (runway 15) and approximately 75-80 feet from the runway edge. There was minor damage to the aircraft mainly contained to the landing gear only. The nose wheel was sheared off and both main gear were bent/collapsed to the left. The left wing fuel tank was compromised and leaked out all fuel that was in the tank (approximately 1000 lbs).
