From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On Saturday 10-24-2009 at approximately 1400 hours pilot Mr. Billy johnson, front seat and pilot Mr. Robert blue back seat, performed a gear-up landing at Coolidge airport. This landing was witnessed by two persons on the ground. After landing with the gear-up Mr. Johnson contacted jarmin’s aircraft recovery service and asked chris jarmin if he could move the aircraft from the active runway. After the phone call Mr. Johnson then contacted his aircraft mechnic, Mr. Tony wiser who said he was told by Mr. Johnson that he forgot to put the gear down. Mr. Wiser came to the airport to review the aircraft damage. While at the site Mr. Robert blue asked Mr. Wiser if he would mind get on the aircraft to lower the gear after the aircraft was lifted up. Mr. Wiser then climbed on the wing and positioned himself adjacent to the front cockpit. As the aircraft was being raised Mr. Wiser noticed that the landing gear handle was in the up position. He proceeded to lower the gear handle to the down position and the gear came down as required. Once the gear was down and locked Mr. Wiser proceeded to install the safety locks on the aircraft landing gear. The aircraft was then towed to the tarmac.
