From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On approach to mci, the pilot requested and received clearance for a landing on rwy 19R due to the proximity to the FBO where he was to park the aircraft. He attempted to land using the minimum distance necessary in order to shorten the taxi time to the FBO. This resulted in an approach below a safe altitude on short final, landing short of the rwy 19R threshold, and rolling onto the runway from the overrun. The aircraft struck two approach lights resulting in damage to the lights, but no damage to the aircraft.
