From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot departed Osceola, AR 12-04-09 enroute to covington, TN. During landing approach when selecting gear down, landing gear malfunctioned. Followed aircraft flight manual instructions to manually lower landing gear. Indication of gear down was evidenced by the marking on the gear position indicator on the floor. Accomplished fly-by at covington, TN airport with witnesses on the ground who verified both verbally and visually the landing gear was extended. Returned to Osceola, AR with gear extended, and made a normal landing at the Osceola, AR airport. The main gear held fine, but after lowering the nose gently to the ground it collapsed, then both main gear collapsed damaging both propellers along with slight damage to the underside of the aircraft. No injuries to the pilot.
