From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Egf 3237 (dfw-lit) was flying DALL8. Lit departure. In the area of texarkanna, AR, at 2334Z, ATC noticed the aircraft heading northbound rather than east-northeast bound as depicted on the departure.ATC re-directed egf 3237 on a heading of 090 degrees and subsequently cleared the aircraft direct to lit. Due to the turn, egf 3237 entered another ATC sector. However, there was no loss of separation with any other aircraft in the area. The crew initially claimed that they were experiencing a issue with their FMS.the flight continued to lit without any further complication.
