From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot had departed T41 for a short flight to the waterfront and back. While on base for runway 15 the pilot stated that the aircraft began to lose power. The pilot applied full throttle with no affect and began an early turn towards the runway. The initial touchdown was approx 200 feet short of the runway. Due to the amount of rain in the days prior to the accident the area was left with mud and standing water. Upon touchdown the main wheels began sinking into the mud resulting in the aircraft overturning.
