From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N706TJ received taxi clearance from the main terminal/customs parking area to runway 13R via taxiway alpha. The f/o read back the taxi clearance and the aircraft moved northbound on taxiway alpha. The flight crew taxied past the alpha 1 turn off and continued northbound on taxiway alpha. When the flight crew became aware of passing the alpha 1 intersection, they executed a 180 degree turn on taxiway alpha. At the end of the turn southbound, the left wing fuel tip tank collided with a fuel truck which was proceeding in the non-movement area (zipper road) northbound. The fuel tip tank entered the forward left windshield of the fuel truck cab and pinned the fuel truck driver in the cab of the truck.

As the FAA filed it
