From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Eye witness to the accident reported that during landing on runway 3 that the pilot veered to the right of the runway and struck a parked glider N2509H, on its back just aft of the cockpit. Then bounced up in the air and traveled approximately 200 to 300 more feet and struck a second glider N7115, in its container and came to rest. Pilot reported during a phone interview with the reporting inspector that he landed on the wrong runway with a tail wind and that the accident was his fault.
