From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed gear up on runway 25, North Las Vegas Airport (vgt), 2 POB, no injuries. Nose gear failed to extend upon initial landing approach to vgt, rwy 12R, pilot requested flyby tower to verify non-extension of nose gear to verify gear indicator light on panel. Tower verified main gear down, but nose gear still retracted, nose gear doors still closed. Pilot requested clearance to north practice area to try and extend gear. After approximately 1.5 hours gear would still not retract. Pilot then requested return for emergency landing at North Las Vegas Airport (vgt). ATC personnel directed pilot to runway 25 to accommodate winds for better landing. Pilot performed emergency landing on rwy 25 at approximately 1710 hours (local) 11 June 2010. ASI went to aircraft location (lone mountain repair station, North Las Vegas Airport) on 14 June 2010, inspected aircraft and took pictures.
