From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was performing required 14CFRPART 137 agricultural pilot knowledge &skill test for certification. When demonstrating the landing portion of the test, the aircraft touched down on runway 36 at M25 with what appeared to be an excessive rate of descent causing the aircraft to bounce. Power was added & witnesses thought pilot was attempting a go-around. Shortly after adding power, the power was reduced and he attempted to land again. As soon as the aircraft touched down screeching tires were heard and the aircraft nosed over striking the propeller. The aircraft came to rest in the middle of the runway on its back facing the opposite way. The aircraft was substantially damaged, and the pilot was taken to the hospital with injuries.
