From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted A certified flight instructor, was demonstrating a soft field take-off on rwy 24 (a grass runway) at Olson Airport. The aircraft did not become airborn and thus privacy data omitted attempted to abort the take-off. The aircraft rolled into a corn field located at the departure end of the runway. Note: privacy data omitted was demonstrating this soft take-off to a student pilot and thus was the sole manipulator of the controls at the time of the incident. Therefore, the student pilot's information has been omitted from this form.
