From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Investigated gear retraction/collapse on roll out after landing. Aircraft piloted by owner privacy data omitted, landed normally. During gear extension, pilot indicated a "snap" was heard as the gear handle was moved through 70% to 80% of retraction handle throw travel. Handle was secured in the extended position and "green" gear position indication was observed on inst panel. Gear in the extended position was observed by several other personnel on ground and in the air, as second aircraft was trailining incident aircraft. During roll out, right main gear retracted, followed shortly by the left main and nose gear. This aircraft had just been signed off as airworthy after annual inspection. Aircraft had less than .4 hrs since sign off. It appears the gear retraction during roll out was direct result of improper maintenance & inspection.

As the FAA filed it

INVESTIGATED GEAR RETRACTION/COLLAPSE ON ROLL OUT AFTER LANDING. AIRCRAFT PILOTED BY OWNER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, LANDED NORMALLY.
