What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Witnesses stated pilot had aborted two erratic takeoff attempts on runway 25 apparently due to left engine not making power. On the third attempt the aircraft became airborne, yawing and rolling to the left, struck the northbound lane of I-75, the left wing tip digging into the median. The aircraft continued across the southbound lane of I-75 after shearing off a major portion of the left wing on the median cable guardrail, rolled over on it's top and slid down the grade stopping near the right of way fence. Flame patterns began appearing on the east edge of the southbound lane continuing into the grass on the shoulder. One occupant was ejected from the aircraft and suffered severe burns and spinal injuries. The other four occupants received fatal injuries.
