From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot in command made the following statement of facts: on July 15, 2010, while taxiing from the active runway 18 at waterburyoxford airport in Waterbury, Connecticut, to the 121 restaurant ramp, I made contact on the left wingtip with a fence post at the ramp in WARRIORN2129M. When beginning the maneuver to swing the plane around to line upwith the parking spot, I ensured wingtip clearance with the nearbyfencing. However, as I began to execute the turn, another aircraft parkedon the ramp began moving to exit the ramp, causing me to change my turnradius and angle, and in doing so, making contact with the fence post.
